Alexander Rabe

With more than 1,100 member companies, eco is the largest association of the Internet industry in Europe.

Alexander Rabe was previously active at the German Informatics Society (GI) in various roles. Most recently as chief executive officer. Rabe is an elected member of the GI presidium, deputy spokesman of the GI regional group Berlin-Brandenburg, member of the GI economic advisory board and the GI advisory board IT education and training. Rabe is an official member of the advisory board "Marktwächter Digitale Welt" of the Bundeszentrale Verbraucherschutz (VBZV) and a member of the high-level steering committee of DIN for the development of the AI standardization roadmap. Rabe is also a member of the advisory board of the BMWi-funded "Mittelstand 4.0 Kompetenzzentrum IT Wirtschaft" program and a member of the BMBF's strategic ICT platform.

Rabe represents eco at the Federal Government's Digital Summit vis-à-vis the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and in the Digital Sovereignty Focus Group of the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi).
