Maike Klein

Doctoral Student / Project Lead NetDGT

Maike Klein is a doctoral student in philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. Her dissertation 'Emotions in Computational Systems' focuses on the connections between philosophy, psychology, robotics and computer science, combining theory and technological practice. She has been a visiting scholar in Messina and in robotics labs in Tokyo (funded by JSPS) and Salzburg. She studied practice-oriented cultural philosophy, philosophy and Romance studies, as well as business psychology in Germany and France. At GI, she is project lead of "NetDGT" and is particularly interested in transdisciplinary topics related to AI.
