Dr. Katharina Teuber

Project Manager R&D (Focus Data Science)

Dr. Katharina Teuber has already furthered her education in the field of Data Science during her doctoral thesis in the DFG Research Training Group Urban Water Interfaces in Hydroinformatics. After successfully completing her doctorate at TU Berlin on the simulation of multiphase 3D flow processes in canals, she joined the Research and Development department of Berliner Wasserbetriebe in 2019 as a project manager with a focus on Data Science. Here, her focus is on projects with data-driven intelligent innovations, e.g. a detection of contaminated oxygen probes in biological wastewater treatment or control concepts at wastewater treatment plants.

Since May 2021, she has been working with the other partners as part of the consortium of the BMBF-funded Digital GreenTech project Blue2035 to develop an overarching digitization strategy for the water industry of the future.
