Daniel Krupka

Managing Director of the German Informatics Society

As Executive Director, Daniel Krupka represents the German Informatics Society vis-à-vis the public, politics, business and associations, maintains the external networks and manages the office in Berlin. He is responsible for GI projects on artificial intelligence, algorithm regulation, digital education and digital sovereignty, data literacy and data science, among others. He represents the Gesellschaft für Informatik on the advisory board of the national computer science competitions, in the AI Campus, in the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies and the International Federation for Information Processing, among others, and is involved in the thematic network on information and communication technology of the Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech). Daniel Krupka studied Public Policy and Management at the University of Konstanz, Jiao Tong University in Shanghai (PR China) and York University in Toronto (Canada).
