Tanya Braun is a PostDoc at the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Lübeck. She completed a bachelor's degree in business administration before studying computational informatics at the Hamburg University of Technology. Subsequently, she received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lübeck. Her research interests are mainly in the areas of statistical-relational AI, human-oriented AI, and text comprehension. Since the latest edition, she is co-editor of the "Handbuch der Künstlichen Intelligenz". From November 2021, she will lead her own research group on data processing/data science at the University of Münster as a junior professor.
