Dr. Lutz Hellmig is a member of the speaker team of the GI expert committee "Informatics Education in Schools" and a subject expert in the GI expert group "Informatics Education in MV".
After 18 years as a teacher of mathematics, physics and computer science, he has been responsible for teacher training in computer science at the University of Rostock since 2008. He teaches and researches there in the field of didactics of computer science. Of particular interest to him are the references to school practice with the compulsory subject of computer science. Dr. Lutz Hellmig is mainly active in the fields of educational standards and curriculum work as well as teacher training.
