Prof. Dr. Jörg Lässig

Prof. Dr. Jörg Lässig is professor for enterprise application development at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and speaker of the working group quantum computing of the German Informatics Society. After completing his studies in computer science and computational physics, he received his PhD in 2009 from the TU Chemnitz on efficient algorithms and models for cooperation generation and control. This was followed by postdoctoral stays at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, California and at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. His current work at the Fraunhofer IOSB is focused on ramping-up the QAPPS.Center for Applied Quantum Computing Saxony, a research and education collaboration of different institutes and universities.
