Charlotte Stix

Charlotte Stix is an experienced technology policy expert specializing in AI governance. Her PhD research at Eindhoven University of Technology explores ethical, policy and regulatory challenges of artificial intelligence. In this context, she is a Fellow at the Leverhulme Center for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge. Most recently, Charlotte was Coordinator of the European Commission's High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI HLEG) and an expert to the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Neurotechnologies. Previously, she was a Policy Officer at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, a Fellow of the World Economic Forum's AI Council, led over 18 million in robotics and AI projects as a Policy Officer at the European Commission, and advised international start-up Element AI as a consultant on their European AI engagement. Charlotte has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 (Europe), a Young Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, and a Leader of Tomorrow by the St. Gallen Symposium.
