Johannes Nicolai is a long-time open source enthusiast and contributor. In his position as Enterprise Solutions Engineer at GitHub, he enjoys helping companies and communities in German-speaking countries with technical and cultural challenges around software development, agile transformation/migration and open/inside source. Prior to GitHub, Johannes was the European Head of R&D at CollabNet, responsible for the further development of Subversion, TeamForge and Gerrit. Johannes holds a Master's degree from Hasso Plattner Institute Potsdam and is a certified Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner and Jenkins Engineer.
