Luise Kranich heads the Berlin branch and the "Innovation, Strategy and Transfer" department at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology. With her team, she researches technological, economic and social issues of digitization and how it can be used in a meaningful way while preserving digital sovereignty.

The industrial engineer previously gained experience in a Hamburg startup and in the Connected Living innovation center, is a member of the steering committee of the GI regional group Berlin-Brandenburg and, among other things, is active in the Femtec.Alumnae e.V. association for more equal opportunities in the tech environment.
